Matt Kraus, MPH, LMHC-D, LCAT
Matt received his Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling and Creative Art therapy from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA and his Masters of Public Health from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Matt was formerly the Director of the Wellness Center at Purchase College SUNY focusing on substance use counseling, promoting a wellness lifestyle, prevention and recovery support for college students. Prior to that, Matt worked as an Outpatient Counselor at Connecticut Counseling Center in Danbury, CT running a Substance Abuse IOP Program for CT court mandated drug offenders and conducting intake evaluations for the State Court System. Matt has also been a Primary Therapist for the Renfrew Center for Eating Disorders in Old Greenwich, CT. Prior to the Renfrew Center, Matt was a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist for New York Presbyterian Hospital’s Westchester campus flagship unit The Haven. At Presbyterian, Matt also worked on each of the hospitals 12 units, as well having spent 2.5 years on the hospital’s Pediatric Unit.
Andrew McIntosh, LMHC
Andrew received his Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University, C.W. Post. He completed his Intensive Training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy with Dr. Charles Swenson and has also completed advanced training in DBT Skills Training at Four Winds Hospital. Formerly, Andrew was with the Mental Health Association of Rockland County in their dual-diagnosis outpatient substance abuse program. Andrew specializes in DBT for young adolescents and pre-adolescents, as well as substance use disorders for adolescents, young adults and adults.
Cami Presha, LMHC-D
Cami earned her Master’s Degree and Advanced Certificate in School and Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University. She has extensive experience providing individual and group therapy, beginning as a Therapist and Intake Coordinator at the Center for Safety & Change, where she supported survivors of sexual trauma and domestic violence. Cami also worked in middle and high schools in Westchester through Student Assistance Services, leading school-wide prevention programs and providing individual and group counseling for students. Currently, Cami serves as the Director and therapist at the Student Counseling Center at Mercy University, where she provides short-term and crisis counseling to college students. Cami helps clients explore maladaptive behaviors, understand their origins, and develop healthier coping strategies to support present and future well-being
Philip Farrugia, LMHC
Philip is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. In addition to working at DBT Associates of Nyack, Philip has been a School Counselor in Rockland County for the past 16 years where he has had extensive experience working with adolescents. He completed his training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy with Dr. Lane Pederson, and has had additional training in Eclectic Cognitive Behavioral Therapy under the direction of Dr. Thomas Nardi. Philip holds three Graduate Degrees from Long Island University in School Counseling, Educational Leadership, and Mental Health Counseling.

Dr. Kathleen Keefe-Cooperman, PsyD
Though not an employee of Hudson View DBT+ Mental Health Counseling, Dr. Kathy Keefe-Cooperman (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who shares our office space. She has joined our treatment team to offer her supervisory experience and insight. Dr. Keefe-Cooperman is an Associate Professor at Long Island University, as well as a member of the prestigious Fulbright Specialist Program. She has a broad range of experience working with children, adolescents and adults around mental health issues that impact daily life. Dr. Keefe-Cooperman also specializes in psychological evaluations of preschoolers, and Autism identification and diagnosis for younger children. Dr. Keefe-Cooperman has two Master’s degrees and earned her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Hartford. She has published in psychology, counseling and educational journals on her research into the areas of preschooler development and breaking bad news using a structured protocol she developed. Dr. Keefe-Cooperman presents at national and international conferences and is also the co-author of a book focusing on math anxiety and related cognitive principles for overcoming this difficulty.
